Abstract
This review examines the characteristics of a successful political leader using the example of the first part of the book series «Jinping: the governance of China». Particular attention is paid to the issues of leadership of a state with such a large population as China. The review also notes that in order to effectively manage the country, it is important to consciously and carefully approach the choice of officials. In addition, the study examines the phenomenon of continuous learning as a leading principle of political leadership in China. The author places special emphasis on the fact that the prosperity of the state depends on the education of its political leader.
